Dear Valued Customer:
We here at Auth Fuels hope this letter finds all of you having a safe and healthy summer. The previous winter was one for the record books, and even though it feels like it just ended, we must begin preparing for the upcoming heating season.
We once again will be offering both types of budget plans with 10 or 12 month payment options.
The CAPPED BUDGET PROGRAM was very beneficial to all of you who chose to participate. The well below average temperatures caused most of you to consume 20% more fuel than the previous winter. This caused prices to spike during peak demand times. The cap protected you from these spikes affecting your budget payments.
This program affords everyone the ability to know what their maximum cost to heat their home will be, without being locked into a fixed price. We continue to feel with the volatility of the energy markets, along with other global political and economic uncertainties, the capped budget program is the best way to protect our customers from unpredictable price fluctuations.
This season we are able to set a capped price of $ 2.89 per gallon for the 2014-2015 heating season. This means that anyone on the CAPPED BUDGET PLAN will not pay more than $2.89 per gallon, and if our posted price is lower at the time of delivery you will receive the lower price. To protect the price you pay, we must purchase a type of insurance through our suppliers. This will add $30.00 a month to the 10 month plan or $25.00 a month to the 12 month plan, but we feel the amount of protection you receive to be well worth it.
With this plan, our customers are able to budget their energy dollars by spreading the annual cost of home heating over 10 or 12 monthly payments. Rather than face the ups and downs of peak winter bills, your payment will remain the same each month. At the end of the budget season, we will settle your account. If you are not currently on the budget program and wish to be, please fill out the enclosed form and return it.
We thank you for your continued patronage. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to call us at 413-737-1468.
